Welcome to the “New” AllAboutAlpha.com

Apr 19th, 2007 | Filed under: Today's Post

As you can see, we’ve entered AllAboutAlpha.com into “Extreme Makeover – Blog Edition” in order to add more content now and in the future.  But don’t worry.  You can still enjoy the same archives and will view the same daily postings, links, analysis, and lame humour you have come to expect from AllAboutAlpha.

Aside from basic design changes, we have added a couple of wings to the Portable Alpha Hall of Fame, included links to purchase relevant books (no affiliate programs – just links to great books), and added some video (both at the right of your screen and in a small, but growing video library accessible above).

On most days, researching this industry is like drinking from a firehose.  So we’ve also added an “Alpha Ticker” to provide you with all the links that are sitting on the cutting room floor by the end of each day.  There are several great hedge fund news sites on the web already, so we only post stories that relate directly to alpha-centric investing.

Agree with a posting or think we’re way off-base?  We’ve made commenting on postings a whole lot easier – no password or registration required.  And if you’ve got a burning question to which you want others to respond directly, you can now submit it for all to see.

Finally, we’ve built-out our links section to include a variety of new categories and lots of room to grow.

We are also pleased to announce that several leading global firms have stepped forward to support our work.  They have volunteered their proprietary content (not available publicly on the web) for AllAboutAlpha’s “Research Dossiers” – electronic folders to be launched over the coming months and accessible to subscribers of Alpha Mail after a quick and painless sign-in.  These firms have also committed to advising AllAboutAlpha.com on key issues and indusry developments.

As always, we continue to focus our efforts on bringing you interesting news, insightful analysis and a unique point of view.  We hope this redesign will futher our objective.

Happy Alpha Hunting,

Alpha Male and the entire team at AllAboutAlpha.com
